Buddies is committed to promoting responsible pet ownership in the home. To do this, Buddies provides FREE Puppy and Kitten Packs for vet practices to hand out to clients at their pet's first vaccination.
Each pack contains a comprehensive and informative Guide to raising a healthy puppy or kitten. These are written with a team of independent vets and nurses so they cover all the important information owners need after leaving the practice.
No owner can remember all the important advice they're given at 1st vaccination - so the Buddies Guide provides an invaluable way to help ensure best practice is followed in the home. The Guides are totally independent and every word is checked by a vet and nurse.
The value of the pack overall, and the fact that it is given free by the practice, has been shown to help bond owners to their vet, with 9 out of 10 pack recipients saying they will visit again.*
Buddies really values the support of vets and nurses who hand the Buddies Puppy and Kitten Packs out to pet owners. So as a gesture of appreciation, Buddies pays 25p per pack handed out (in High Street gift vouchers), once a completed receipt tag has been received back from a practice. Plus there are:
There are also POS materials available, such as posters and wobblers, that can be used to encourage owners to ask for their free Buddies Puppy or Kitten Packs.
Buddies Puppy and Kitten Packs are independently branded and given out sealed - leaving practices free to hand them out alongside other material.
Very easy. The packs can be ordered in consignments from Buddies Customer Care Line as often as is necessary to manage storage space effectively.
The tags can be sent back regularly using the Freepost envelopes provided.
So for practices currently producing their own packs, switching to Buddies not only saves time and money, but also actually pays practices as well!
The names and addresses sent back on the tags are kept securely under the Data Protection Act at Buddies; they are only shared with partners in the Buddies Packs, and only then to confirm correct receipt and to provide relevant information / further samples for the benefit of the owner and their pet.
And if the owner does not want to be contacted at all, then there is an 'opt-out' tick box on the tag.
